Learn the most important facts first and highlight them in your notes.
Listening to music is not always a good idea, because it can
distract you. If you can’t learn without it, then try listening to music
from your favorite video game, it may help concentrating.
Take notes in class. You will see improvement in your grades. Also take your notes on paper, not on your PC.
Turn off every electronic device around you, except the ones you
need for studying. On PC don’t check social networks while learning.
Clear your mind, concentrate only on what you have to do.
Do some exercises to improve your memory. For example, by eating healthy, having enough sleep, etc.
Manage your time. Think about school as a full-time job. Studying should be the first thing to do when you get home from school.
A good trick may be copying your notes at home. While you rewrite them your brain will memorize it faster than just reading it.
Study hard subjects first.
Read your notes slowly.
Always do your homework, you can’t exercise enough.
Write notes on the margin. When reading your notes a few weeks or
months later, it will help you to better understand what your notes are
about.
Study during the whole semester, not for exams only.
